Time was presented as the Landmark Art Centre concludes its 30th anniversary celebrations and begins marking 130 years since the foundation stone of this historic building was laid. TIME transformed the much-loved local landmark into a spectacular canvas for a journey through history, science and imagination.
As darkness fell, monumental projections filled the soaring architecture, accompanied by an atmospheric soundscape that surrounded you in the space.
Time is an extraordinary exploration of humanity’s relationship with time, taking audiences on a journey through history, science and imagination.
The experience took place entirely within the Landmark Arts Centre’s spectacular main space, where projections transformed the walls, arches and architecture. Through a sequence of captivating projected artworks, audiences journeyed across different eras, encountering theories of relativity and the writings of H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine.
Traversing wormholes, visitors ventured inside the intricate workings of clocks and experienced a dramatic narrative that travelled from the present day back towards the very beginning of everything. The journey ultimately reached the formation of our planet, creating a profound and awe-inspiring conclusion to this unique experience.
