The Storytellers – Chelmsford Cathedral – 10th – 14th February 2026

Chelmsford Cathedral was transformed in February with The Storytellers, an acclaimed immersive light and sound experience that captivated audiences over five nights from 10 – 14 February. Visitors were treated to a breath-taking journey through the art of storytelling, with the cathedral’s walls illuminated in vibrant colour, sound and movement. 

Guests were guided through a 40 minute immersive adventure celebrating the power of stories. From classic literature and folklore to children’s favourites and timeless legends. Each artwork acted as a chapter of storytelling history, immersing visitors in the realms of famous authors’ imaginations, accompanied by a captivating soundscape.
