Time – Truro Cathedral

Time – Truro Cathedral – 12th – 17th January 2026

Time offered an extraordinary exploration of humanity’s relationship with the concept of time, taking visitors on an unforgettable journey through history, science, and imagination.

Audiences moved through a series of captivating large-scale installations that portrayed humanity across different eras, drawing on theories of relativity and the visionary text of H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine. The experience invited reflection on how we perceive time and our place within it.

While the cathedral remained open during the day in its familiar form, each evening saw it dramatically transformed. Projections filled the interior, transporting visitors through wormholes, inside the intricate mechanisms of clocks, and back through a sweeping narrative that spanned from the present day to the very beginning of existence.
