The Light Before Christmas: Starlight – Liverpool Cathedral – 29th November – 7th December 2024

Luxmuralis returned to Liverpool Cathedral and invited visitors to embark on a breathtaking journey through the Nativity story, as the Cathedral’s magnificent Gothic interior transformed into a stunning canvas for a series of dazzling light projections and bespoke soundscapes. Starlight took them on a beautifully articulated adventure, guiding them through the true meaning of Christmas, all while following the star that leads to the heart of the nativity.

The Cathedral’s sacred spaces were reimagined through contemporary light and sound, offering a truly immersive experience honouring the beauty of the iconic architecture. It was a magical opportunity to see Liverpool Cathedral in a whole new light—literally—celebrating the spirit of Christmas in a setting that has become a beloved tradition for visitors of all ages.
