Sheffield Cathedral Illuminated: Starlight – Sheffield Cathedral – 5th – 9th December 2023

2023 saw Sheffield Cathedral open up the forecourt so that everyone passing by could watch the beautiful projections across the ancient walls of the cathedral and listen to the uplifting soundscape. This was to be our ‘gift to the city’. 

Starlight guided visitors on a journey following the three wise men. Contemporary light and sound artwork brought to life stained-glass windows and beautiful paintings, taking visitors to the heart of the Nativity story which unfolded before them across the West End of the cathedral.
