The Beginning – Peterborough Cathedral – 23rd – 26th November 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Beginning promised to be a “stunning experience for all the family and the perfect way to begin looking towards Christmas”, and it did not disappoint! The art installation, using projected light and sound, was based around the Nativity story and timed to coincide with the start of the Advent season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audience first saw a colourful 20 minute light projection on the outside of the Cathedral, before being ushered into the medieval building to experience an immersive light and sound installation inspired by the fragility and beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. There was no fixed duration to the inside part of the show and the audience were invited to explore the Cathedral space in their own time, enjoying the spectacular effects of the light and sound on the architecture of the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
